Check an emphasis and stoppers of cams on lack of wear.
Check plugs of the lever of the AKPP selector on lack of wear or damage.
Check a spring on absence of damage or wear.
Check a core tip assembled on lack of wear.

NOTE
At carrying out maintenance of system of blocking of the lever of the AKPP selector follow the instructions provided below and adjustment procedures to provide correctness of work of system.

Procedure of installation of a blocking cam

Move blocking cam of the lever of the AKPP selector in the direction "A" and hold him a hand in this situation (see fig. 3.109).
Check that the blocking cam of a key of the lock of ignition is located in the situation "In" and (fig. 3.109) is kept by a persistent pin.

Procedure of adjustment of a cable of blocking of the lever of the selector and cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition

Check that both blocking cams are established in the situation shown in drawing 3.110.
Establish cables of blocking of the lever of the selector and a key of the lock of ignition in the specified situation. Thus other end of a cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition should be fixed in the ignition lock, and a cable of blocking of the lever of the selector – on a brake pedal in the relevant situation.
Temporarily connect both cables to the AKPP selector lever, as is shown in drawing 3.111.
Reliably fix each cable on a pin of the corresponding blocking cam.
Check that the tip of a cable of blocking of the lever of the selector concerns a pin of a blocking cam of the lever of the selector, then fix a nut an external braid of a cable on an arm, and a cable tip – a washer and shplinty.
Slightly press blocking cam of a key of the lock of ignition in the direction specified by the arrow "Q".

Slightly pull a cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition in the direction specified by the arrow "G" to pull a cable, and then fix an external braid of a cable a nut (see fig. 3.111).
Be convinced that the tip of a cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition is put on a pin of a blocking cam of a key of the lock of ignition and then fix it a washer and a stopper. Thus check that the cable of blocking of the lever of the selector is fixed on a blocking cam of the lever of the selector, as is shown in drawing 3.112.

Procedure of check of correctness of installation of blocking of the lever of the AKPP selector
When the lever of the AKPP selector is in the situation "R", at the released pedal of a brake the blocking button on the lever cannot be pressed (the lever of the AKPP selector cannot move from the situation "R" to other situation). The button of blocking works in other positions of the lever of the AKPP selector (except "R").
If the pedal of a brake is pressed (a pedal course within 15–25 mm) when the AKPP selector lever in the situation "R", the button of blocking works without restrictions and the selector lever smoothly moves from the situation "R" to other situation.
If the pedal of a brake is released, the AKPP selector lever smoothly, without jammings moves to the situation "R" from any other situation.
The pedal of a brake should move to all provisions smoothly, without jammings.
When a key of the lock of ignition in the situation "LOCK", the blocking button on the lever of the AKPP selector works even at the released pedal of a brake.
The key of the lock of ignition does not turn in the situation "LOCK" when the lever of the AKPP selector is established in situation, distinct from "R".
If the lever of the AKPP selector is established in the situation "R", the key of the lock of ignition turns in the situation "LOCK" without jamming.

Instructions to maintenance

Slightly pull a cable of blocking of the lever of the selector in the direction specified by the arrow "E" to create a gap of 2-4 mm between blocking cams of a key of the lock of ignition and the AKPP selector lever, and then fix a nut an external braid of a cable on an arm. After that check that the gap corresponds to a range of 2-4 mm (see fig. 3.112).

NOTE
If the specified gap does not correspond to a range of 2-4 mm, press a pedal of a brake more strongly, than it is required for permission of transfer of the lever of the AKPP selector from the situation "R" in other situation.

Check absence of sagging of a cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition.

NOTE
If the cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition sags, the key of the lock of ignition cannot be taken out from a larva of the lock of ignition and the lever of the AKPP selector can move from the situation "R" to other situation even if the key of the lock of ignition is established in the situation "LOCK".

Before and after performance of the specified procedures blocking cams of a key of the lock of ignition and the lever of the selector should not settle down in identical situation, as is shown in drawing 3.113.

NOTE
If blocking cams of a key of the lock of ignition and the lever of the selector are located in identical situation, transfer of the lever of the AKPP selector from situation "D", "3", "2", "L" in the situation "R", "R", "N" with effort can lead to damage of the corresponding details.

Transfer the AKPP selector lever from situation "D", "3", "2", "L" to the situation "R", "R", "N" after turn of a blocking cam of a key of the lock of ignition in the direction specified by the arrow "And".
Transfer the AKPP selector lever from situation "D", "3", "2", "L" to the situation "R", "R", "N" after turn of a blocking cam of the lever of the selector in the direction specified by the arrow "And" at the pressed pedal of a brake.

Installation of the device of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition
There can be a situation when the key of the lock of ignition cannot be taken out from a larva of the lock of ignition because of the wrong installation of a cable of blocking of a key. For prevention of emergence of the specified situation follow the instructions provided below at carrying out maintenance.

Assembly of the lock of ignition and cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition
The lock is assembled established on a steering column. Establish a larva of the lock of ignition on the lock of a steering column in the situation "LOCK".
Connect a cable of blocking of a key to the lock of ignition and fix the adjusting screw.

Establish the AKPP selector lever in the situation "R".

Connect a cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition, as is shown in drawing 3.114, then temporarily fix an external braid of a cable a nut (М8) so that the adjusting plate of an external braid of a cable moved effort of retraction of the last.
Holding a tip of a cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition and an adjusting plate of an external braid of a cable, move them in the direction specified by the arrows "F" so that on a site "In" there was no bend or cable sagging.

NOTE
Do not pull a cable in the direction specified by the arrow "X-th" to clean cable sagging. It can lead to a situation when the key of the lock of ignition cannot be taken out from a larva of the lock of ignition.

Tighten a nut (М8) of fastening a cable of blocking of a key of the lock of ignition.
