3.3.10. Hydrotransformer check on completely braked car (Stall test)

The purpose of this check is measurement of the maximum frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine at completely braked target shaft of an automatic transmission on ranges of "D" and «R». Based on the results of testing it is possible to define operability of the obgonny coupling of a stator of the hydrotransformer, and also pro-slipping existence in frictional couplings and a brake of the first transfer and backing transfer.

ATTENTION
During this check do not allow anybody to be in front of or behind the car.

Check level and oil (ATF) temperature in an automatic transmission, and also temperature of cooling liquid of the engine. Oil level in AKPP (ATF) should be on a mark of "NOTES" on masloizmeritelny щупе. Oil in AKPP (ATF) should be heated-up to normal working temperature (70-80°C). Cooling liquid of the engine also should be heated-up to normal working temperature (80-90°C).
Establish brake shoes (chocks) under back wheels of the car.
Establish a control tachometer for measurement of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine.
Completely lift the lever of the parking brake and squeeze out against the stop a brake pedal.
Start the engine.
Establish the AKPP selector lever in situation "D", press against the stop an accelerator pedal for determination of the maximum frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine during this moment. During carrying out this dough do not hold a butterfly valve completely open more long, than it is necessary for determination of the maximum frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine or more than five seconds. If this test is necessary for carrying out more than once, after each check transfer the AKPP selector lever to the situation "N" and let's work to the engine on a mode 1000 of mines-1 during 2 миндля oil coolings in (ATF) AKPP between checks.
Nominal rate:
frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine at completely braked car (Stall test): 2300–2700 «í./minute.
Transfer the selector lever to the situation "R" and repeat check on completely braked car, to points similarly mentioned above.
At check on a range of "D" on completely braked car frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine more nominal rate
Excess of nominal rate of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine testifies to a proskalzyvaniye of the back coupling or the obgonny coupling of a transmission. In this case check pressure in AKPP hydrocontrol system for definition of the reason of a proskalzyvaniye.
At check on «R» range on completely braked car frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine more nominal rate
Excess of nominal rate of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine testifies to a proskalzyvaniye of the forward coupling of a transmission or a brake of the first transfer and backing transfer. In this case check pressure in AKPP hydrocontrol system for definition of the reason of a proskalzyvaniye.
At check on «N» range on completely braked car frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine less nominal rate
If frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine less nominal rate, the reason of it is insufficient (inappropriate) target engine capacity or malfunction of the hydrotransformer. Check absence of admissions of flashes in cylinders (the ignition admission), a corner of an advancing of ignition, a gap in a drive of valves etc. If in all listed points of malfunctions it is not revealed, means the hydrotransformer is faulty.
