8.3.3. Electric system

The system of passive safety has difficult electric and electronic devices. Address with system components carefully.

The control unit gives out a signal on blasting safety cushions at face-to-face collision on a signal of the sensor of acceleration.

The converter of a food has blocks of increase and fall of tension which provide a demanded food of chains of blasting and internal working tension. When falling working tension below a certain size there is its restoration.

The sensor is built in a chain of blasting a pillow and intended for system introduction in a working condition at emergence of conditions of blasting. At a normal situation the system is supported in a non-working condition. The safety sensor two-contact, electromechanical works at a certain level of acceleration (delay) of the car.

The electronic SRS control unit accumulates an electric power quantity, sufficient for carrying out blasting a pillow for some time after shutdown of the main food as a result of collision.

The block constantly traces SRS status at the included ignition and defines emergence of malfunctions of system. Codes of malfunction can be считаны HI-SCAN (Pro) tester.

At malfunction emergence the control unit lights a control lamp for informing of the driver on malfunctions in system. After ignition inclusion six blinkings of a lamp speak about a normal state of system.

At malfunction emergence the control unit writes down the corresponding code in memory. The code is read out and removed HI-SCAN (Pro) tester.

The socket is established under the forward panel from the driver and intended for connection of external devices, for example HI-SCAN (Pro) tester.

ATTENTION After safety cushion operation the electronic SRS control unit cannot be used repeatedly. Establish the new block.
