2.1.6. Check of valves of a cover of a radiator

Use a special adapter for connection of a cover of a radiator to a tester (fig. 2.6).
Increase pressure until the arrow of a manometer will not stop (pressure of opening of the valve).
Pressure of opening of the main valve: 83–110 kPas.
Pressure of opening of the vacuum valve: 7 kPas.
Be convinced that pressure of operation of valves of a cover or corresponds to nominal rate, or a little above it.
Replace a radiator cover if pressure of operation of valves is lower than nominal rate.

NOTE
Before check be convinced that a radiator cover pure as the rust or other extraneous substances on sealing laying of a cover can serve as the reason of the wrong indications of a manometer.
