7.4.2. Programming procedure

Key programming
Programming of a key is made after replacement of the faulty control unit with the engine or at delivery of additional keys to the owner of the car.
Procedure begins with that the control unit the engine requests special data of the car from the verifying device. The "pure" control unit the engine writes down these data then it is possible to begin key programming. The "programmed" control unit the engine compares the data obtained from the verifying device with the data which are storing in his memory. If data coincide, programming proceeds.
If the control unit the engine obtains the wrong special data of the car, it during 1 чотклоняет request for key programming three times. Duration of this deviation cannot be reduced by shutdown of the storage battery or other actions. After battery connection the timer reckons from scratch.
Programming of a key occurs by inclusion of ignition by a key and on additional commands from the verifying device. The control unit the engine writes down the relevant data in ЭСППЗУ and in the priyemootvetchik STORAGE. After that the control unit the engine makes an identification which is required for the adoption of process of programming. Then performance of programming proves to be true the message on the verifying device.
If the key is already known to the control unit for the engine on the basis of programming of the previous key, its identification and updating of data in ЭСППЗУ is made. Contents of memory of a priyemootvetchik do not change (in the programmed priyemootvetchik it it is impossible).
The control unit the engine distinguishes attempt of repeated programming of the key which has been already programmed during one and that of a cycle of programming. It rejects inquiry of a key and issues the message on the verifying device.
The control unit the engine rejects also programming of not operating keys, issuing the message on it on the verifying device. The key can appear not operating owing to malfunction of a priyemootvetchik or for other reasons caused by unsuccessful data input. The key is considered not operating at discrepancy of opoznavatel of a priyemootvetchik and the control unit the engine.
It is possible to program no more than 4 keys.
In case of a mistake when using the menu of service of an immobilizer the control unit condition the engine remains without change and in memory the special code of malfunction is brought.
If when programming any key of a condition of the control unit by the engine and a key do not coincide, procedure of check stops, and in memory of the control unit the engine the special code of malfunction registers.

Programming of the password of the user
The password of the user used for start of the engine in emergency operation, is programmed at service station. The user chooses the four-unit digital password.
Programming of the password of the user is made only by the "programmed" control unit the engine. Before the first input of the password of the user in the control unit the engine the condition of the password should be "pure". Thus emergency start of the engine is impossible.
Programming is made by inclusion of ignition by an operating key and issue of the password of the user from the verifying device. At successful programming the password of the user passes from a condition "pure" "programmed" to a condition.
The programmed password of the user can be changed. It is possible, if the password of the user is in a condition "programmed", and the verifying device gives out permission to access or to the former password of the user, or to special data of the car. After the correct delivery of permission the control unit the engine requests the new password of the user. The new password remains in a condition "programmed" and will operate at the following emergency start of the engine.
If on the control unit the engine the wrong password of the user or erroneous data of the car three times stands out, it within an hour rejects request for password change. Duration of this deviation cannot be reduced by shutdown of the storage battery or other actions. After battery connection the timer reckons from scratch.

Conditions of the password of the user
00. It is not checked yet.
This condition is stored in ЭСППЗУ. In case of obtaining erroneous or wrong data from this device the control unit the engine is incapable to check this condition and issues the message 00.
01. It is programmed.
The password in the control unit is programmed by the engine successfully.
02. Pure.
This condition is entered at the end of the line of manufacturing of the control unit by the engine before car delivery to the end user.
04. It is blocked with the timer.
After a certain number of erroneous inputs the control unit is blocked by the engine on 1 h during whom any input is not accepted.
05. Programming is not accepted.
This condition is established, if, for example, the control unit the engine is in a neutral condition.
